Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software sales
and knowledge of technology. Candidate must be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere
of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must be able
to articulate technology and product positioning, possess strong presentation skills
and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs,
and when submitting reports. He/she must be organized and analytical, able to eliminate
sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches & must be prepared for
extensive travel.
- Researching the market and related products.
- Gathering market and customer information.
- Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services.
- Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as
conferences, seminars, etc.
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
- Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy;
- Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
- Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
- Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers
and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new
business for the organization’s products/services.
- Sales lead generation through cold calling, E-mail & Direct mail campaigns.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests,
competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
- Participates in trade shows and conventions.
- Preparing Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports.
- Participating in team meetings.
- Experience and familiarity of our products and line of business a plus
- Very strong communication and written skills
- Able to travel extensively throughout sales territory/Country
- A candidate with field sales experience, good market knowledge & contacts in the
Hotel/Restaurant industry is preferred. Degree in Business Administration, Information
Technology / Computer Science is a plus
